It is our pleasure to welcome our guests of honor for a private residency in Vietnam 2024. The group this time includes 4 artists: Ann Phong from the International Association of Art / USA and Gumsak Atipiboonsin, Natsuree Techawiriyataweesin and Thawee Tungmongkolwan from the International Association of Visual Artists / Thailand.
A mini workshop will take place from November, 18 to 20, 2024.

Pendhapa Art Space (PAS) is a masterpiece art space founded by Dunadi (sculptor) in Yogyakarta. This facility provides for the implementation of cultural and arts activities for the artists and the public. Besides having an art exhibition gallery and a performance space, PAS provides a rehearsal room, gamelan instrument, open stage facility, art experience activities and sculpture park for garden parties.
To establish friendly relations between Indonesia and Vietnam, we, Pendhapa Art Space Yogyakarta, will hold a joint exhibition of fine arts, paintings, and sculptures at:
Event: 2024 Indonesia-Vietnam Exchange Art Exhibition
Date: August 27 - September 2, 2024.
Location: Pendhapa Art Space JI. Prof. Dr. Wirjono Prodjodikoro (Ring-Road Selatan), Tegal Krapyak RT 01, Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 55188, Indonesia.
We kindly ask each invited artist to bring and present two (2) of their latest paintings or sculptures to be displayed in this exhibition. The exhibition will be attended by several Indonesian and Vietnamese artists. This event is the second one, following a joint exhibition at the HCMC Fine Arts Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in August 2023.
Group Exhibition Symbiosis, HCMC Art Association – VN

The 888+ Group Exhibition, themed “Symbiosis (+ Sinh)”, is an annual gathering of passionate painters affiliated with the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association. This year’s exhibition will be held from August 8 to August 14, 2024, at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association Gallery, located at 218A Pasteur Street, Ward 12, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
This exhibition celebrates a collective of painters—friends who share a mutual passion for painting and a commitment to fostering the growth of traditional fine arts. It features the participation of 16 artists, including Tô Bảo Ân, Kim Chi, Liêu Nguyễn, Nguyễn Anh Đào, Lý Ngọc Hải, Đỗ Hiếu, Hoàng Hồng, Hồ Hưng, Liên Văn, Hồng Loan, Nguyễn Hồng Quân, Trần Thục Quyên, Lâm Nhựt Thanh, Nguyễn Trí Minh Tuyết, Nguyễn Trí Minh Thư, and Nguyễn Văn Trung.
Theme: “+ Sinh” (Symbiosis)
The theme “+ Sinh” is inspired by the concept of symbiosis, a mutually beneficial relationship between two or more organisms. This idea symbolizes the synergy and creative resonance among the participating artists as they create and appreciate art. The exhibition brings together nearly 50 artworks in various mediums, reflecting each artist’s unique identity while exploring their shared harmony in artistic practice.
About the Artists
The participating artists are a diverse group spanning various ages. They share a common perspective on art creation and a playful, experimental approach to their craft. Together, they form a collective that seeks innovation and gradual transformation of traditional structures through their annual exhibitions.

The Hội Ngộ Group Exhibition, themed “Identity 2024”, is an annual gathering of painters from the 2016 cohort of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts. This year’s exhibition will be held from June 30 to July 6, 2024, at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association Gallery, located at 218A Pasteur Street, Ward 12, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
This exhibition features a reunion of 12 painters, who share a passion for painting and a dedication to the development of traditional fine arts. The participating artists include Thùy An, Bảo Nguyễn, Lý Ngọc Hải, Vũ Duy Hoàng, Hoàng Tuấn Kha, Long Trần, NguyenNguyen, Ny Phạm, Phan Lê Phong, Quang Nguyễn, Lâm Sơn Thân, and Thảo Trâm.
Theme: Identity
The theme “Identity” symbolizes the unique and stable characteristics that distinguish one individual from another. The exhibition uses this concept to explore the creative individuality and artistic direction of each painter. This year’s showcase gathers nearly 40 artworks, highlighting diverse creative expressions that reflect the distinctive personal styles and independent voices of the artists.
